I look forward every January sharing with you my favorite books of the year before. I’m an avid reader and keep track of what I liked and what I didn’t like on Goodreads. Here are my favorite books of 2022 that I ranked four or five stars because anything lower just wouldn’t be worth reading in my opinion. There are so many good books out there and so little time!

4 Stars
Apples Never Fall by Liane Moriarty
The Wife Between Us by Greer Hendricks
Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney
Book Lovers by Emily Henry
The Family Upstairs by Lisa Jewell
The Diamond Eye by Kate Quinn
The Unknown Beloved by Amy Harmon
The Boardwalk Bookshop by Susan Mallory
Carrie Soto is Back by Taylor Jenkins Reid

4.5 Stars
Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover
The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave
The Secret Life of CeeCee Wilkes by Diane Chamberlain

5 Stars
The Hating Game by Sally Thorne (romance)
The Night She Disappeared by Lisa Jewell (mystery/thriller)

As I was typing this list I was surprised that there are so few…for me. I want to give you some more so here are the ones I gave three star, but the overall ratings for Goodreads readers were at least a four star.

3 Stars
It Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab
The Lincoln Highway by Amor Towles
Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone by Diana Gabaldon (#9 in Outlander series)
The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood
The Wish by Nicholas Sparks
The Dressmaker’s Gift by Fiona Valpy

If you’d like even more suggestions check out my lists from 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016.

I hope you enjoyed my favorite books of the year! I’m always looking for new good reads. What are your recent favorites?
