Etsy’s Buddy & Jojo Handcrafted Wooden Toys
I.Love.These.Toys. oh, I love my job as a blogger and finding great toys for you! Now I am excited to introduce an Etsy shop to you that has only been around for six months but has already took off like a blast making handcrafted wooden toys!
It all got started just last summer after our family relocated from Boise, Idaho to Boston, Massachusetts. I had accepted a new position with a tech firm and after my husband spent some time job searching here we decided why not start a small, at home business doing something fun and green to help support our family? Thus Buddy and Jojo was created. It is named after our boys, Robert (who is two, and his nickname has been Buddy since he was very little) and Joey (who is eleven, almost twelve). Their cute little mugs are in the Etsy shop banner.
Since then we have done 129 Etsy sales, and are going strong! We have had 100% satisfaction in our toys so far, and have received some really great feedback from customers, which really makes you feel awesome…knowing that you are making a product that is safe and friendly, and not only for the children but for the environment as well!
The shop is filled with super cute wooden rolling toys & wee wooden teethers!
They are made 100% organic and carved from the finest sustainable woods like maple, cherry & walnut are sanded down until perfectly smooth to eliminate any sharp edges. Then finished with a mixture of organic olive oil and beeswax so they are not toxic at all!

Michelle, the mama behind Buddy & Jojo, was kind enough to send me one. Wahoo! But I got a double bonus and they sent me the most adorable caterpillar too!
Have you ever opened a package from someone and were so touched you teared up? That is how I felt looking and feeling these two toys. I knew they were handcrafted from a family with boys and lots of love went into them.And it didn’t hurt that they were the cutest little toys I had seen in a long time.
Baby P’Diddy LOVES rolling toys like all little boys. He and his brother did not wait at all before zooming them around the house.
Michelle and her family are very big on doing what we can to use organic products, foods, etc…and are big into recycling, re-using, upcycling, etc…! We raise our boys to be kind and respectful to our dear earth.
