I’ll try not to make you jealous with my Fresh Produce review!

It was a rare moment. A new outfit arrived at my door. An outfit for ME!

A simple dress from Fresh Produce called the Sunshine Dress. Of course I needed it in the Sunrise color! Buying new clothes is something I do not do very often. I wear the same clothes over and over and it can get quite boring. When I do buy clothes, it is the basics. Jeans, khakis, socks, you know. Never a dress!

This loose fitting, empire waist, ruffle edged, dress was what I needed to feel pretty on Easter. Now I just need to splurge on a haircut and some highlights…maybe a manicure and pedicure?

Even though I’m not a fancy girl, I could have worn this all day. It was so comfy and light. I think I need many more just like it!

It comes in over 28 solid colors to stock up on or in my printed Augustine pattern that I love.

Island clothes is the other thing this mama wears! The other day, I was out of town with a bunch of friends who don’t live on the coast, and one of them turns to me and says, ‘you look just like a BeachBum!’ in my carpris and flip flops. I told her that was a compliment!

I would never dress any other way which is why Fresh Produce is the perfect fit!

Do you know what the best part of being a Beach Mama is? Yes, I can go to the beach any time I want and believe me I do not take this for granted! We are actually headed there tomorrow as my boys are on spring break and it’s a great place to meet up with friends.

I do not have a beach cover-up, but this one is definitely first on my list! Tooo cute!!

Am I making you jealous with all of my beachy talk? :)

I received this dress from Fresh Produce for review and all opinions are my own.

Our New Summer Pedipeds

I can’t believe it has been a year since I posted about my baby taking his first steps in his Pedipeds. I still call him my baby, but that he is not!

Hubby and I had a hard time deciding what his next pair of shoes should be, as we knew he would be running across yards and sliding down slides and crawling across sandy beaches. We wanted something that would be cute and comfy for all of his summer activities.

Very happy in our choice of the Jones style in the Flex line at Pediped. They are fun fun fun! We couldn’t decide on a color either, but settled on blue. There are four other bright colors to choose from so be sure to click in and see them all!

Why did we choose Flex?

The Flex Fit System™ provides additional insoles that can be inserted for a snug fit then removed for room as your child’s foot grows. These insoles can reduce shoe size by almost half a size, extending the life of the shoe.

I love the velcro tab that makes it easy for me to put them on and off of him. Actually, he is learning to put his shoes on and take them off, all by himself! My big boy!

We wear these shoes with jeans and khakis, but they look adorable with shorts and no socks too!

Check out Pediped for your summer shoes!

We received a pair of shoes for review, but all opinions are my own.

Learning Can Be Fun with DimensionU!

If you were to ask my big boys ~ ages 7 & 9 ~ what is their favorite thing to do is…they would both say Video Games.

That is why parents like me are glad for websites like DimensionU. They play games while learning at the same time. What is nice about DimensionU is that the kids hardly know they are really fine tuning their math skills. I’ve never seen such ‘real looking’ video games that incorporate math problems as well they do!

It was easy for C’Man to sign up. All he needed was a username and password (with my email!) with his age and grade level. It then took us to the main screen where we got to choose between 1 of 2 games to play.

We played Gadget Works first! This reminded me of Tetris and I even joined in the fun. Actually the three of us worked together against the clock to solve the problems. Remove the color balls so that new balls can drop down. Earn points! Answer a math question to get rewarded with more powers. Actually, as I’m sitting here writing this review, I logged back in to take another look and got sucked in playing!

The second game, Meltdown, amazes me on its video game quality. This not-so-bright-mom had to read the instructions very closely to figure out where my guy needed to go. Your character, who is very real life looking in his 3D mode, is on a mission to find the colored balls and take them to their stations. C’Man figured it out in less than five seconds and was soon all over this game! He could have played forever. He knew how to collect, drop off, jump, shoot, and best of all, he answered his math questions superbly!

You can take DimensionU to another level. Meaning, if you sign up as a parent, you can add money into your account. Your kids will then earn this allowance as they achieve their goals. They can buy cool things like games, Legos, books, even a Kindle Fire! Of course my boys are dying for me to join this part, but I haven’t yet. We’ll see. Not sure how much I actually want them to play video games, even if they are learning.

Check out DimensionU with your kids if they are in 3rd grade or beyond. I think they will enjoy the games and its ‘real’ quality! :)

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for DimensionU. I received a free trial of DimensionU to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank-you for participating.
