As you know I do not have girls, but I have learned a couple of things lately. Middle school is harsh! I have heard too many stories lately about how mean this age group can be. Actually just last night C’Man, a new sixth grader, received a very weird prank message on his cell phone from giggling girls.
Do you remember what it was like to be under that peer pressure? To be one of the crowd.
Until then visit Walmart to watch an inspiring video that shows just how important it is to teach young girls about self-confidence and self-esteem. While you’re on the site, download the Dove self-esteem discussion guide for girls ages 11-16, to start the conversation with the loved one in your life.
Gosh, reading these tips and stories brings back memories of those years! I remember having to look just like everyone else. I needed the most up to date styles just to feel like I fit in.
So check your local Walmart for Saturday’s event to Talk: Beauty. Confidence. Self-Esteem.
