Playing Pretend with Learning Resources
When we moved last fall I sold or donated a good amount of toys. I kept P’Diddy’s favorites including his play food and shopping cart (but I did sell the kitchen which he reminds me of!). He absolutely loves to take orders, make food, and watch us eat it.
Learning Resources recently sent us two new kits from their New Sprouts line. They are both a hit and soooo cute!
This set is so perfect for us. I have to tell you that I’ve given my love for coffee to two of my boys. They both really like the taste and will chose coffee-flavored ice cream and yogurts for themselves. LOL! Now they don’t get to brew a daily cup like I do for myself, but P’Diddy choose this set to pretend to make it for me. He loves to pour in my cream and sugar and mix it. The mixing is is favorite part! ha! He serves it with a dessert of my choice and you can just see his grin. Don’t you love that travel mug?
Now one of our favorite things to do – in any state – is make s’mores! yum! We use our fire pit quite a lot and now P’Diddy plays along too. I feel like since we are in the mountains now and plan to camp out often this summer, this set is even more perfect. We’ll be taking it along in the little tote included. So fun! Love that little glow in the dark lantern.
New Sprouts has become my favorite play food because it is both cute and very durable. It’s made to last! The Smart Snacks Shape Sorting Cupcakes is one of our most played with pretend foods and goes perfect with the Brew It! set. Just ask P’Diddy.
