EcoGear is Saving the World One Bag at a Time

Love that slogan 🙂

When I first ran into EcoGear this year I knew I needed one for the boys this school year. What a great idea!

They sell bags. Backpacks, kid bags, travel duffels, sleeping bags, and more!

All bags are made with planet-friendly organic cotton, PVC-free materials, recycled plastics and toxic-free dyes and components.

THEY USE AN ALTERNATIVE TO PVC

Instead of commonly used and chemical-emitting PVC, we’ve created bags coated with EPO, a healthy alternative. Ecogear uses this patented system called Ecoweave (EPO), which creates virtually no risk to the environment or to human health. The benefits of Ecoweave include:

• Toxic-free

• PVC-free

• Chlorine-free

• No dioxin, phthalates or heavy metals

• Carries no ozone-depleting chemicals

• Clean to recycle—creates natural occuring emissions when burned

• Safe in manufacturing and consumer use

C’Man chose the EcoGear Palila in the red orange color. Not only does it look sharp, but it is made with 100% recycled water bottles.

Chiro Hubby loves the ergo-padded shoulder pads which is the first thing we look at before buying a backpack to make sure that weight is distributed right and the straps are in-line for good back support. Multiple pockets inside include places for pencils, a zippered area for small items, and a space perfect for a tablet.

A good amount of room inside which is good because you need a LOT of stuff in Middle School. 🙂

His first day of Middle School. sniff sniff. It was just as bad for me as when he went off to Kindergarten.
