Giveaway Pets Nature’s Variety Pet Food Giveaway

I’m so excited that I have a new member of our family to blog about. Some of you met Duke when he was just a little thing. Well, he is still little but now at 14 weeks old he is gaining approx two pounds a week. Our baby is growing up fast!

We haven’t had a dog in our family for five years. In fact, we put our golden retriever to sleep the day P’Diddy came home from the hospital. It was a new landmark when our husky-german shepherd mix came to live with us on a little boy’s fifth birthday. Why I didn’t entirely forget how much work they are, boy I will tell you that I forgot how much work they are! He has ate up cords, googles, many shoelaces, toys and the list continues to go on…oh I guess he is worth it though. Just look at this cute face… sent him his own toys which have now taken up our family room. The kids things are contained in the basement, but the dog toys are spread throughout. These chew keys he carries and gnaws on like they taste good! Actually, they do because they are bacon flavored. ha!

The biggest question I had when our new puppy came home was What Food Do I Feed Him? geeez there are sooooo many foods! Since my family is picky about what we buy and eat, I wasn’t going to treat Duke any different. I wanted a food that was good for him! But I also didn’t want to break the bank. One thing I learned was that though the ‘good’ foods are more expensive – they eat less of it! So you really have to get out your calculator for your budget and determine what is right for you.

IMG_8571 introduced me to Nature’s Variety. I chose the Large Breed Puppy formula, though they have a ton to choose from! Both dry and wet, can and bagged, snacks and more for every dog AND cat!

This is the Instinct Raw Boost line which combines grain-free kibble plus freeze dried raw pieces together. Duke is chowing it down!

  • Dukes eyes are just beautiful. His paws are huge which means he's going to be a big dog. What a beauty he is. I live in an apt and I can't have pets. As soon as my daughter moved out and had a house she got a chihuahua/corgi mix Then she added 2 more and a cat. It's funny because those dog chew toys almost look like my granddaughters teething toys. Lol! One dog has chewed up a couple of her bath toys. Thank you for the great giveaway :)
  • I love cats! My last one and I were inseparable. Almost dying together will do that to you. I couldn't bear thinking of another cat after my sweet Muffin, but when a cat comes to you like this, what choice do you have. It was years later when my current cat adopted me. When a cat comes home from your husband's job in the engine, it's the only thing to do. He's sweet, very playful, and very loving, so I'm happy we found each other. He has a lot of digestion issues, so we're always on the lookout for the best food for him.
  • Love the bacon scented chew keys that Duke enjoys playng with. Max is a sheltie and spends some enjoyable time chewing on this and that
  • I have two dogs that were not raised around children and I'm paying for that mistake. They don't like my grandchildren, so when the visit, I have to lock them in a room. I can't risk them hurting my grandchildren.
  • Our dog is part of our family, and our son s very attached to him. He is also sick of his food. I would love to try this food!
  • I would love for my dog to have a chance to try this, it sounds like it would be really good for him.
  • I would love to try this for my dog; I love the fact that it is grain free; my dog has a lot of allergies and I read that sometimes it can be from the grain in her dog food.
  • Thank you for keeping the giveaway entries very simple and quick to do. It is getting a little annoying to enter those time consuming giveaways that make me go from site to site leaving coments and copying pasting URLs. Well, to the point, I have a cat and a dog, very sweet and lovely both of them.
  • I've never heard of or seen this brand before! I'll keep an eye out for it. I'm sure our German Shepards would love it!
  • My 2 cats, Shadow and Stubby would love to try out some new food! They love to eat (and it shows) and I am liking all the benefits that this food has for them as they are older and need to eat healthier.
  • I noticed a difference in things when feeding REAL good dog food.. I had a dog who had skin woes and the vet would give me shampoos and such... I switched to really expensive grain free food for her and she was FINE. I would love to try this food. I don't have that particular dog now... this one seems to be fine on what she eats now- but I'm always open to new options.
  • Your puppy is beautiful. I had a German shepherd/husky mix myself. They make wonderful dogs. I currently have a pug and a German shepherd/lab mix.
  • My pitbull gave me 9 puppies yesterday! I can only imagine what things will be like in about a month!
  • I have a gorgeous orange tabby cat who would love this. He is my baby..adopted him from an animal shelter 2 years ago, and he was found as a feral kitten. He is the most affectionate, most intelligent, and sweetest cat ever.
  • I sure hope I win this gift pack to donate to the local SPCA to help with the influx of spring puppies! Please help your local SPCA and spay or neuter your pet.
  • Our dog Samson is such a huge part of our family. He lost a leg a couple of years ago in a freak accident, and it has been inspiring to watch him bounce back.
  • We have two cats, and they are very active, so they eat a lot. We love them, though, in spite of their craziness! Thank you for the giveaway!!
  • I found my dog Mildred Diane in the woods. She is a cocker spaniel dachshund and she was so ugly I was scared no one would adopt her if i took her to the pound so i kept her. Now, she has grown back all her hair and is beautiful and the best dog i have ever had. She's my best friend!
  • We've had our dog for 10+ years now..and can't imagine a day without her! She loves us unconditionally and is always prepared to drown you in kisses! She's getting older and slower but still tries to keep up with everyone, so nutrition is very important for her at this stage. She always gets allergies so we have to be mindful of the ingredients..I'd love to try Nature's Variety for her!
  • Would love this for my kitties! I have two and it shocked me the other day to realize they're seniors now -- almost 12 year old! Time has flown. I'm trying to cherish every moment with them even more now, in case they don't have many left!
  • We have an 11 year old German Shepherd!! She is such a sweet dog and plays so well with our kids!
  • We have 3 rescue mutts so cute buy can really chew up their bones so glad to see strong toys that they could not destroy . Wonderful company didnt know about them till now thanks.
  • Okay how adorbs is his little face!! love the puppy blue eyes! I'm entering for my sister's new puppy b/c those chew toys look cute! :)
  • I have two cats named Dixie and Gillian. Gillian has a sensitive tummy so I would love to find a great food for her. kristiedonelson(at)gmail(dot)com Thank you.
  • I am a customer. They're a wonderful company. I have placed several orders and have been treated like family. They take great care of their customers.
  • We have a 15 year old Border Collie Mixed named Jasper. He is having a hard time trying to get up lately. It makes me so sad!! We have switched his food a few times over the years on the advice from our vet to help him stay healthier. Jasper & his sweet affection is so worth it!!
  • We have one dog and one cat, and right now, both of them are on the couch with me. Makes me feel very loved--it's a big house, but they like to be close. Love those fur beasts!
  • This looks like a really great healthy dog food that would be great for my 3 Maltese dogs, they aren't puppies now and I want to afford them the best food I can to ensure their health for years to come. Puppies are a handful but so worth it:)
  • We have a 2yr old Boxer named Loki (and he totally lives up to his name!). I call him our mini Boxer BC he was the runt of the litter and is way shorter and weighs much less than my 2 previous male Boxers :)!
  • I am a huge fan of Nylabone products. I do not understand why rawhide chews are allowed on the market. Rawhide can easily kill dogs. I speak form experience.
  • I would give this to my sister who has 4 rescue dogs, 2 border collies, a boxer and a Boston Terrier.
  • I transitioned all of my pets to grain free food several years ago and noticed a remarkable improvement in their energy level and appearance. I was not familiar with Nature’s Variety prior to reading this review but would definitely be interested in trying it.
  • I have a wonderful black cocker spaniel named Bailey. He is our joy and happiness. We love him so much and he is spoiled rotten.
