Natural & Organic at Sam’s Club ~ Kid’s Snack Mix
This Natural & Organic at Sam’s Club post is written by me on behalf of General Mills. All opinions are entirely my own. This shop has been compensated by Acorn Influence, Inc. and its advertiser.
Since we moved a few weeks ago our weekday commute has gotten longer. The kids’ schools are now twenty minutes away, but the worst part is the staggered start times and waiting for after school activities to end. We spend a lot of time in our car these days! At first I found myself buying extra snacks at nearby places to help pass the time. Then I got smarter and I am now stocking up the car with goodies the boys will eat and I approve of. I found organic at Sam’s Club in one of our favorite brands, Annie’s.
White Cheddar Popcorn oh my! Most of the time we head to the park and the kids munch away for an after school snack.
I also made this easy treat to mix things up a bit. Combine Annie’s White Cheddar Popcorn, Annie’s Organic Cheddar Bunnies
(also found at Sam’s Club!) and pretzels.
Pour into a bigger container with a lid for everyone to share or make each child their own individual pack. Mix enough that it will last the whole school week and you won’t need to stock up again. Be sure to pack some cloth napkins for those cheesy fingers and drinks too. I always have full water bottles ready in their cup holders.
Sam’s Club is more than just meats and produce. Scroll the aisles and you’ll find some great shelf stable foods to fill up the cart with, including Annie’s Cocoa Bunnies and Cookies (or their Mac & Cheese for an easy dinner!). Bars are also a great option for our car days and Sam’s Club carries LARABAR in a variety pack and Cascadian Farm chewy granola bars.
These natural and organic options are exactly what I look for and I am happy that I can stock up because you know I will be in the car A LOT over the next year commuting to school! What moms do for their kids, right?
