Make Your Photos Perfect with Adobe Elements
How many times have you looked at picture and thought if you could change just one thing, it might become a hanging in a frame, up on the wall, type photo? Maybe it’s the red eye, or motion blur, or maybe you wish you would tweak the colors a bit because they look washed out or just not real?
Let me tell you about Adobe Elements and a few of the fantastic features that it can do to make any of us look like professionals.
When you open up your software you’ll see it divided into four sections –
eLive – find How To articles around the web – not just from Adobe.
Quick – simple editing tools that doesn’t overwhelm you.
Guided – looooooooove this. Maybe you want to turn your color photo black and white? Chose the Guide and it gives you the exact tools you need right in your sidebar with instructions – you don’t have to hunt them down.
Expert – everything Adobe has to offer all in one place. Now to just learn what these tools are!
You’ll see there are a lot of Auto options that quickly and easily do what you want to a photo.
Auto Red Eye Fix, Auto Shake Reduction, Auto Haze Removal (and so much more!) – with one click your editing may be done. You can add special effects, make different colors, and even add text and frames all in one place.
The one thing I did know about Adobe was that it could remove unwanted people who are caught in the background. I knew just the photograph I wanted to fix this!
In this photo I edited…
Made it black and white, but kept the colors of the pumpkins! SO cool right? The software is SO smart and can detect lines to use and outline.
Then I erased those people in the background and then decided to erase the stickers off his jacket too. This is SO fast and easy that you will be amazed!
Last, I cropped the picture. I didn’t like that big shadow at the bottom and really that was space not really needed because I want to concentrate on his SO cute face and orange pumpkins.

A couple of other features I want to mention.
Find & Organize your stuff fast! Simply search your child’s name or the place you visited and all the photos in that category come up instantly. Face recognition software can determine each person from child til they are adult – it’s very neat!
Share right from the Adobe platform on Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo and even and HD TVs!
