Homegrown Collective GreenBox Giveaway

| |

There are many surprise monthly subscription boxes out there now and I know that I would love many of them, but I have to tell you that I think I have found my fav. It is everything I want in a box – showing me how to Be Green and Live Healthy. Exactly what this blog is all about, so I am super excited to share Homegrown Collective with you!

Each month you will receive a new GreenBox and inside will be something new and different that you will get to create. Past months included mushroom growing kit, heirloom seeds, water kefir supplies, DIY cheese kit, DIY herbal tinctures, DIY homemade cough syrup, raw honey, beeswax, to name some.

Very crunchy right? Is this right up your alley? Read on!

This month I received a DIY Detox in a Box. That link has wonderful pics and details of the Box, but let me share with you from my view. I was ready to get mixing!

My GreenBox came with three different concoctions for Detoxing!

Bentonite Clay & Rosewater Mask ~ Bentonite is one of the most effective and powerful healing clays and is composed of aged volcanic ash! Upon contact with fluid, hence the Rosewater with its own healing powers, the electrical charge changes and gives it the ability to absorb toxins. SO Cool?!

There is enough mask to mix to last a long time. I loved putting this ‘mud’ on my face and the rosewater smells so lovely! My skin needs this!

Dead Sea Salts & Lavender Fizzing Bath Soak ~ salts harvested from the Southern end of the Dead Sea are supposed to be the finest quality you can find and very therapeutic. These salts contain 21 minerals and will do a great job at detoxifing our body.

Combined with the lavender they have a wonderful scent. I had a relaxing bath with my latest read Wicked.

Dandelion Organic Herbal Leaf Tea ~ did you know the dandelion is one of the top six herbs in the Chinese herbal medicine chest? I did not! It is high in vitamins and minerals, good for low blood pressure and helps build energy. And this is only a few things! Cleansing is another which is why it is perfect to infuse into tea.

I’ll admit I was a bit scared to try dandelion, but it tasted like a dandelion should (I think!) and not bad. I added honey and enjoyed my afternoon cup.

Well, that was my DIY Detox in a Box! What do you think? You want one, right?
