There is nothing better than opening your front door and seeing dinner there. No meal planning, prepping, shopping or stressing. Family dinners are made easy with Sun Basket.
We start our crazy spring sports schedule this week. 3 kids and 3 sports, plus hubby playing in his own league too, means that we have something going on every.single.day. Where am I supposed to find time to make dinner? Sun Basket has my back and can ship me 2, 3 or 4 meals a week, all ready to be cooked. This week they sent me a free box for my post.
The best part? Something I worry about every time I shop? Quality of food.
Sun Basket is a certified organic retailer and tries to deliver only 100% organic product.
They send only antibiotic- and hormone-free meat and pastured, organic eggs.
Use only wild-caught seafood that is recommended as Best Choice or Good Alternative by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch Program.
Each meal arrives in its own labeled paper bag so you aren’t scrambling to see which ingredient goes with what meal. Meat is sandwiched between ice packs at the bottom of the box.
Below are my individually wrapped ingredients for each meal. It may seem like a lot of waste, but you can reuse the plastic bags that are ziplocked and the containers, then recycle what you don’t need.
The recipes are found in their beautiful photographed magazine – all the recipes from the week, even the ones you weren’t shipped which is nice.
The fun part for me every week is choosing which meals. There is a nice selection of options! Gluten free, vegetarian, etc. These past few days I have made Chicken Cacciatore over fresh pappardelle (which I have to admit I was nervous it would be hard and it wasn’t) and Mojo-Marinated Carne Asada Fajitas with lime yogurt.
I don’t even have to be a gourmet cook, but it sure looks like I am!
See! Family dinners ARE made easy with Sun Basket.
Try them out today at SunBasket.com – up to 18 healthy meals a week to choose from which is great!
