Today I am chatting about a really FuN product called Wine Punts.
Recycled wine bottle glasses, also known as a Wine Punt, is simply a wine bottle converted into a glass.
The “punt” of a bottle is the indentation at the base of the bottle. In the old days, when wine bottles were each made by hand, its very likely that the punt was a result of the glass making process – but of course experienced glass makers would have been able to “fix” this before the bottle was done, and flattened the punt. Why didn’t they? There are a variety of theories about why finished bottles had punts. Its important to note that nobody knows for sure 
They come in five great colors ~ Aqua, Clear, Amber, Olive, Green ~ and I am enjoying my drinks so much better these days. We have way to many plastic cups from ball games and restaurants in our cupboard. I want to convert my cabinet to glass and these glasses were a great start. I am going to add more in all sizes and colors!
They come in a juice glass size at 12oz and bit bigger at 16oz. I wish they had one more size up, but honestly who am I to complain. These are stylish looking, made tough so they won’t chip and crack easily, and when I heard they were made from recycled glass I was sold!

My favorite feature of the whole collection is how deep they all are. Definitely helps him spoon up food better and makes less mess for me!
Bowls ($4.99 for 3) ~ these bowls have quickly become the first thing I grab. Not just for baby, but for all of us! They are great for O’Bear’s snacks and perfect for C’man’s morning cereal. Again, the deep walls make them big enough for any food!
Utensils ($3.99 for 8) ~ spoons are made with a deep scoop and forks have rounded tips so no sharp poking. Just the right size for those little hands to get a good grip.
Spill Proof Cup ($6.99 for 2) ~ I realllly like these! They made with a spill-proof valve, but we don’t use it. I easily detached it and now the bigger boys can use it as a normal cup or I can screw the lid on for P’Diddy to drink. The two small holes are just right for him and not much comes out if he does spill. Win win for us!
Overall, we love our tableware! It is sturdy and thick and not to mention bright and colorful.
When they have been through the ringer, just toss them in your recycle bin. No waste!
I don’t want to forget Dishwasher Safe which is super important!!
