Environmentally Friendly Peepods Giveaway

I have been a proud user of cloth period pads or mama cloth, as I like to call them, for around three years now. Just think about the money I have saved and the waste I haven’t created in just that time frame!

You’ve heard me chat about the great benefits of them before and today I want to introduce you to a new company called Peepods. They are run by a mom who started researching how to be chemical-free with her family and stumbled upon the cloth pad idea. I think it’s a great idea, don’t you?

Let me tell you about Peepods…

They are Beautiful. Never thought I’d say about about a period pad before! Choose from an Cranberry or Espresso colored pad with floral patterned wings.

They are Comfortable. Made with soft flannel and organic hemp fleece.

They are Absorbent. You won’t see the PUL fabric inside, but it is there so no leaking will occur. You can even wear them overnight!

They Give Back. For every purchase of any set of Peepods, the same item is sent to a specific hospital in Ethopia. The women who come to this hospital suffer from a condition called obstetric fistula due to an overwhelming absence of obstetric care in the country.

They have a Great Starter Set. Includes 3 panty liners, 2 day pads, and 2 night pads. This is about what I had when I first started and I just kept washing to use over. Then you can slowly add to your stash as time goes on. Store them in your Planet Wise Wet Bag which is also included! The bag is small enough to fit in your purse and I bring mine with me when I’m out.

Company Kids Beach Towel & Tote Giveaway

Company Kids is one of my favorite stores! Whenever my boys need new bedding or something for their room, I check here first. P’Diddy has the cutest duvet cover with his dinosaur theme that I found in their online store a few months ago. I still go into his room and grin at my good find!

Today we aren’t going to talk bedrooms though…but beach goodies! Oh yes, Company Kids has some must-need items for the kids to take to the beach.

The Shark Tote Bag is the perfect fit for us! Whales, dolphins, turtles, sharks…we love it all. 100% cotton canvas makes it lightweight and kid-friendly. The nautical rope handle makes this bag a beach hit in my book. Though it’s a little long for P’Diddy to carry, he sure does it anyway!

If you peek inside the bag, you’ll find a fully lined interior with his beach toys to bring along. When we are done for the day, he’ll pick them back up to put in his bag. Love it! The less stuff for me to carry, the better. We can dump out the sandy items and wipe clean or throw in the wash when we get home.

SpiritHoods Surf Hoods Giveaway

I have had SpiritHoods on my wish list for the boys for some time. They are the most creative and fun hoods out there. Have you seen them? They are hats with tails. Or maybe it’s ears. Wolves, tigers, huskies all kind of cool animals. They even have built in speakers!

We don’t need hoods in the summer though right? That’s what I said when Spirit Hoods contacted me for a review.

These super soft hoods are made with a cotton shell and terry cloth lining to keep you dry and cozy.

I love the pockets at the hands and if you look close you can see a zipper pocket on the opposite blue side. Super fun!

One size fits all from ages 4-12 which is great in his family of three different size boys!

They are great to take to the pool, out boating, fishing, or just cuz it’s summer. I can definitely see these being the new rage and everyone wanting one!
