The Three Blessings Exercise #poweroftheheart
“I believe that the heart is the most forceful, impactful element in our lives. I believe that the heart helps us to understand who we are, where we are, and how we are.” ~ Maya Angelou
The Power of the Heart is the gathering of eighteen of the world’s greatest spiritual thinkers, writers, and scientists who talk about how you can find your highest potential…by listening to your heart.
A book and a movie, this powerful lesson will make you think.
The Three Blessing Exercise (from page 65)
“Every night for a week write down what went well, or three blessings. The three things that went well can be small or large, unimportant or important. Then next to each item answer the question “Why did this go well?” ”
I felt good knowing that I was already kind of completing this exercise as I like to list what I have thankful for everyday. I think they go along the same lines. This exercise makes me think a little bit more as to WHY did things happen in my day the way they did. Was my heart a factor in my decisions?
There are many different ways to connect with your heart’s power and intelligence. The book explains how to listen to your heart’s voice and hear its wisdom. It also explains ways in which you can develop your intuition, create synchronicity, clarify your intentions, and exercise the power of gratitude. All of these – intuition, intention, gratitude, and synchronicity – are also powers of the heart.
It is great listening to names like Maya Angelou, Deepak Chopra, Paulo Coelho, Jane Goodall, Eckhart Tolle, and Gary Zukav share their stories and how the heart has lead them to be successful…and happy.
