Superfood Treats for Your Family

| |

When back to school time hits I NEED more food ideas! Something to give the kids a little surprise in their lunch or for an after school snack. Here are 4 healthy, superfood treats for your family that I think you will want to try.

My/Mo Mochi Ice Cream

Let’s start with a fun dessert! This one may not be superfood, but My/Mo Mochi ice cream is what to pull out when you want to impress guests (or kids!) who have never seen them before. This is what I did when we had a family get together. WHAT is this? Everyone wanted to know!

They are colorful, gluten- and rBST-free snacks made with a scoop of premium ice cream wrapped in pillowy sweet rice dough. The texture is probably something you have never experienced before! At just 110 calories per ball, it is the perfect, portion-controlled treat to make everyone smile.

Comes in 8 delectable flavors plus an “inside out” version and a vegan line made with cashew cream. YUM I’m telling you!

Elemental Superfood Crumble

Superfood in a bag! Grab a handful and munch away. Or top on your oatmeal or yogurt. There really is no wrong way to eat it. This Crumble is certified Non-GMO, Raw, Gluten-Free, made in the USA, and comes in 4 flavors with Real Ingredients to give you the vitamins and energy you need. Here you can see how each ingredient is individually beneficial. They also come in bar form which I think would be great for on the go!

Cranberry, Almond + Lucuma Crumble: Organic Cranberries, Lucuma (an exotic sweet fruit!), and Almonds.

Currant, Cacao + Hemp Seed Crumble: Organic Currants and Raw Cacao.

Dark Chocolate + Peanut Butter Crumble: Organic Dark Chocolate.

Mulberry, Cacao + Spirulina Crumble: Mulberries, Raw Cacao, and Organic Spirulina.

Emmy’s Organics

I’ve been picking up Emmy’s coconut cookies for awhile now. They are the perfect bite size treat for me! Contain zero artificial ingredients and are certified USDA organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, soy-free, vegan, and they use fair trade chocolate in some flavors too. You know I love chocolate!

Today I want to share with you the new Radiant Line for a little something different:

Radiant Matcha: Made with MatchaBar matcha green tea.

Radiant Golden-Milk: Warming blend of turmeric and ginger paired with sweet, rich coconut.

Mamma Chia

You’ve seen them here before and I love to feature them because they are so yummy. And so good for you! Chia-loaded snacks and beverages that even the kids will slurp up. All of their Organic products are packed with plant-based Omega-3, Fiber and complete Protein to help nourish your soul from the inside out. Your body will thank you! Do you wonder Why Chia Seeds?

Chia Vitality Granola: Wild Blueberry and Vanilla Almond made with chia seeds of course and added organic whole grains, fruits and nuts.

Chia Squeeze: 6 flavors in a convenient squeeze container. Chia seeds infused with delicious fruits and vegetables, but I guarantee your kids won’t even know there is a veggie in there. They will just taste goodness!

Chia Beverages: Mamas if you haven’t tried these beware. They are ADDICTIVE! I loooove them and have to grab one almost every time I’m at the store. Choose from the Vitality or Energy (clean caffeine from organic yerba mate and organic green coffee bean) lines.
