Shopswell Shop Share & Win this Holiday Season
Wow my boys are expensive. I’ve asked them to start making their Christmas lists so I can start hunting for deals. I about fell over when I saw what they wanted! Apparently the price tag was not a determination when they were coming up with these items.
Good thing I have a new site to use that not only will keep me organized with these lists (and MY own lists!), but will notify me if there is a price change. My goal is to actually save money this year!
Let me tell you about Shopswell.
We all love Pinterest, right? Well think Pinterest for shopping. I’m sure many of you do put your Want Items on Pinterest (I personally don’t do a lot of specific product things), but do those links really stay live? Most of the time they don’t and you find yourself frustrated when ready to buy.
Shopswell keeps track of products for you and only features products for sale with the available price. You can search products already on Shopswell, but I love that you can insert any link online and attach it to your lists.
Then, you may check the Track Price (super cool!) and they will notify you if a price goes down. This will be a life changer this holiday season. It takes so much time going from website to website trying to track down the best price. Plus they are always changing right?
I’ve started out with three lists at Shopswell. I have my own Wishlist, Ideas for Everyone Else, and Techy Toys where I am keeping track of the boys Christmas Lists and believe me I’m checking that price tracker box often!
It got me thinking that lists used to involve books, games and movies, but now every single thing is electronic – ebooks, apps, digital downloads. It is good not having stuff laying around, but it makes me feel like everyone is growing up so fast.
One more thing is I liked how Shopswell gave me new ideas. Hubby is hard to buy for and just scrolling through other posts gave me a couple of thoughts. Plus when I searched iPod it made me realize that I could add a case, headphones, car charger, etc to go with it.
