Shop & Save with the Softcard App

My husband recently purchased a new phone. You know how it is when you get a new piece of technology, so many things come already built into it that you will hardly ever use. This time though he had a cool new app on there called Softcard.

Softcard does a few things to make life easy and save money…

Store Loyalty Cards. This is his favorite feature because men don’t carry around a purse like we do. Where do they keep their points/reward cards? They don’t. That can change now! As for me, I have so many I keep an extra wallet in the car. Love this idea of storing them AND you won’t find me digging through my bag to find them!

Pay using your phone. Set up a prepaid account and add money to it from a debit, credit or bank account. All you do is swipe to pay at over 275,000 locations.

We were out Christmas shopping the other day and the app will search locations around you where you can pay from. Very cool! Our nearest store was Walgreens and Hubby said perfect because he needed a few things. Did he bring in his wallet in to pay? Nope, just swiped right from his phone! Makes me think. Will cash someday be gone?
