Revolution Foods Meal Kits are Fun!
I participated in an Influencer Program on behalf of Mom Central for Revolution Foods. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for participating.
There are two main reasons I am super excited for school to be out. First, I don’t have to get up with the sun. Yes! Second is that I don’t have to make lunches anymore. Hubby thinks it is so funny that I hate dislike making lunches so much. I complain almost every night, yet I don’t see him taking over either! I don’t know what it is.
By the last week of the year, the boys are pretty bored with my selections too. They will beg me to buy ready-to-go meals at the grocery store because they think they are fun, but I won’t do it. Junk.
Until now. Revolution Foods is a company founded by two moms that ignited a healthy food movement in schools nationwide. They are pre-packaged meals made with natural, high quality ingredients and no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.
This last week of school I was able to pack them a fun lunch, according to them. O’Bear choose the Pizza Meal Kit and C’Man the Turkey & Cheddar Meal Kit. They come with fruit strips and I also added a banana. They are almost ten and twelve so I wanted to make sure they had enough food to get them through the day.
They both came home to report their reviews. O’Bear was not a huge fan of the pizza kits. I have to say I’m not surprised because he is used to hot, melty, gooey pizza. He loved the fruit strips he said though. Lol! C’Man liked it all. I had one Kit left in my fridge – Ham & Cheddar. P’Diddy, O’Bear (because he wanted to drive a different one), and I sat down for an afternoon snack.
We all liked the Kit and I thought it was cute they had little bonus fun on the inside of the box. I do wish they were a tad bigger though, but if you add in another fruit or side of veggie like I did then it should be fine for a full meal at school. I do love that each Meal Kit contains at least 7 grams of whole grains and one serving of fruit.
Revolution Foods Meal Kits are available at Safeway Stores nationwide. I found mine at Super Target!
