Playing Wordical ~ Educational Insights Giveaway
We really enjoy our word games around here. The boys are finally getting old enough where they can really use their word skills and have a healthy competition with me. I love it!
This past weekend was a wet one. We stayed inside and got out the playdoh, built roads and tunnels with the blocks, watched movies, and played games! They were exited when I pulled out our new game Wordical.
It was fairly simple game…easy instructions that everyone quickly understood. We were each dealt five cards which contained consonants. There were two dice with a vowel on each side. The object was to form words combining the cards in your hand and the dice. We all played the turn together, each forming our own word. We added up the points of our word after each round and kept a running score.
The game starts at age eight so I knew O’Bear would have fun playing with us too. He did! P’Diddy even joined in as the official dice thrower. He loved that!
