Panstoria Artisan Digital Scrapbook

|

I am in trouble. I have a new addiction. It is called digi-scrapping and it involves roaming the internet for the cutest scrapbook layouts!

I am a scrapbook girl. Or maybe I should say, I was. I believe I am now over four years behind in getting my books put together. There are lots of reasons I haven’t kept it up but the number one ~ SPACE. We currently have NONE.

I have never done any type of digital scrapping before and to be honest with you I didn’t want to because I felt like it was a cop-out. I LOVED going to the scrapbook store and buying new papers, embellishments, spending the time gluing my pages together. I liked the supplies I bought ~ my cutters, punch outs, stickers, ribbon, you name it.

Now that I am so far behind, combined with my lack of space, I began thinking about doing all pictures over the computer so when Panstoria contacted me to do a review their program called Artisan I was more than eager to give it a try!

Their program was super easy to install! Even a non-techy like me got it done fast.

First you Create ~ any size page you want! I chose to do 12×12 because that is what all of my photo albums have been so far!

Here is what I made…a few pages about our trip to the zoo to get a feel for some of the options!

I found cute “zoo” paper and an embellishment (that was already created for me) to match! Added some text for my title ~ easy peasy!

Here I played around with the photo editing ~ put a mat frame around my first photo with the color taken from the picture, used the sepia color to make that unique look in the second photo, and found a neat edgy frame look in the last photo!

More framing effects! There are LOTS of options playing with photo editing/framing!

(It’s hard to see here but we saw the cutest 5 month old monkey!)

One of my favorite features to play with is Text. I loved the Text Path where I drew a squiggle line and then added typed in words. So fun!

I just touched on a few of the more simpler features of Artisan and know my pages look a little plain…well in my eye they do. I’m sure I will get better with each page I create as I figure out how to become an expert digi-scrapper!
