Learning Resources Smart Snacks Shape Sorting Cupcakes Giveaway
I’m working on some projects at home this week and need some new things to keep P’Diddy busy by himself. I pulled out the Smart Snacks Shape Sorting Cupcakes that Learning Resources just sent our way. It’s one of their new 2013 toys!
He loves playing with cupcakes, ice cream, and any kind of dessert. He’ll ask us what kind we want so he can go off and bake it or scoop it up. He always knows what mom is going to say – chocolate of course!
These cupcakes come in 2 parts – the cake and the frosting. Each has a shape that fits together like a puzzle. He needed to figure out which top went with each bottom. Then he had to look in the tray because it had shapes too – where does the cupcake need to go so it can be baked? Lots of matching fun!
Besides shapes, he is learning colors, sorting, hand-eye coordination, and using his imagination in playing with pretend food. He took his tray (which is hot!) around the house to find each of us to eat a cupcake. A chocolate pink one for mom!
