Ladies Who Lunch at Panera Bread
This is a sponsored post by Ladies Who Lunch at Panera Bread and these opinions are 100% my own.
It’s hard being the new girl in town.
Sure I find moms in the neighborhood or at swim lessons to chat with, but it is hard to find a friend that you can connect with. Someone who likes the same things you do.
Hubby introduced me to Sara the first few weeks we were here because I needed to get my haircut and she was a part of his networking group. I was excited to finally get something done with my look and never expected that the first person I really met is Crunchy! Do you know how much I love connecting with Crunchy Mamas? I can talk with them forever! Her son is also the same exact age (within days!) as P’Diddy so we had that in common too.
I’m sad to say that Sara and I don’t live in the same town so we haven’t connected outside her hair salon. That is until this week when I invited her to go to lunch with me at Panera Bread after my scheduled cut and color. I assumed without asking that she was a Panera Bread eater like me because of their yummy healthy choices. I was right and we had a great lunch!
Our original plan was to work first and then play, but Sara’s schedule changed so lunch was eaten before my hair was done — so don’t look at my hair here! Ha!
Did you know that Panera Bread is committed to removing artificial preservatives, sweeteners, colors and flavors from the food in their bakery-cafes by the end of 2016? Including their salad dressings, which are already clean.
You can feel good about eating there!
Today we ordered…
Chicken Cobb with Avocado Salad. Chicken, raised without antibiotics, with cheese, tomato, bacon, egg and avocado. Sara ordered the “You Pick 2” that came with soup and chips. What more could you want?
Strawberry Poppyseed & Chicken Salad. The fresh fruit citrus taste was delightful, served with the grilled chicken and a few pecans sprinkled in there. And boy do I love poppyseed dressing!
We had a great lunch that we felt good about after – thank you Panera! I was glad we got to spend some one on one time chatting about more crunchy topics of course!
Oh, you want to see the after haircut picture? Much better right?
Stay tuned as I write again later on another reason I visit Panera Bread often.
Do you ever Lunch with the Ladies? Ladies Who Lunch at Panera Bread maybe? 🙂
