Keep Them Busy With the #LEGOChannel

Technology. Most of the time, I am thrilled with it. Other days, I want to throw it all out the window and go back to old fashioned tv, vcr movies, and board games to keep us busy.

I have learned though, that technology is awesome for a couple of things. First, it’s portable. My kids are not allowed to bring their devices in the car most of the time. When we have an appointment though or a long drive, they can bring it to keep them QUIET. Yes I need stillness sometimes. Or I can whip out my phone wherever I am to keep them occupied for a few minutes. Who would have ever thought?

Second, it has saved us money. Goodbye cable. Hello Roku. You Tube. Hulu Plus. We love you.

You Tube is one of our newer pastimes. When our cable stopped and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse disappeared, I almost cried. Yes, P’Diddy was unhappy too, but I love that mouse!

Did you know that you can build playlists? I’ve just learned this through The Official LEGO Channel. We built a LEGO playlist, choosing from over 500 LEGO videos that I introduced the kids to. Do you have a favorite LEGO series? I bet it is there!

LEGO Monster Fighters, LEGO Star Wars, and LEGO Ninjago are some of our favorites. There are short movies (like 2 or 3 minutes), video game clips, and even a lot of info about the LEGO company/builders themselves. When you find a clip you like, you can easily add it to your playlist to watch again.

Now, when it’s time for you to start preparing dinner and your child will just not leave you alone, pull out the Kindle, or Computer, or Smartphone, or TV (the possibilities are endless right?) and tune them into the The Official LEGO Channel to watch their playlist they build up. Easy? And they may let you cook the meal in peace. Maybe.

Do your kids love LEGO too?

There is a lot of content on web; creating a playlist on the Official LEGO® Channel is a great way to ensure your kids are entertained and watching videos you can feel good about.
