I am ready to begin my Fitness and Weight Loss Challenge! #iheartomron #mamavation
Remember how I announced last week that I was pick for the #iheartOmron ambassador program? This past week has been preparing for my 30 Day Fitness Challenge that officially starts TODAY! Am I ready? Let me tell you what I’ve done.
Fitness. The hard part for me. I definitely need motivation to keep up with this. I usually go for about two weeks, then it all goes down hill. I’m determined to stick this out – forever!
Mamavation is setting up an exercise plan for us. Yes! It is much easier for me when someone tells me exactly what to do. I have 7lb weights I will be starting off with and may go out and purchase heavier ones if I find it not enough. I hope!
Also will be walking 10,000 steps a day! I had to google how far this is and I was surprised. 5 miles! Can’t wait to see how this goes.
Food. I told you that I signed up for eMeals for dinners. This will be my second full week cooking meals. We chose the Paleo plan and Hubby is loving it! I’m not a great cook and this makes life so much easier.
For the first two weeks I have shakes for breakfast and lunch. I’ve already been on these for a few days and I love having an easy breakfast, but lunch is harder if I’m preparing the boys’ meals at the same time. I think it is a great way to start me off though!
Omron Fitness supplied us with new scales and a pedometer. Sunday morning I took my weight for the first time since I applied to be an #iheartomron blogger. I was down a little over 5lbs already! Yes! The scale measures our body fat too. eek! Can’t wait to see those numbers go down.
That pedometer is really going to get me moving! I can log into online to my Omron Dashboard it will keep track of everything for me. Very nifty!
Well BeachBums, are you excited for me?!
Please motivate me along! I’ll be tweeting the end of my workout each day.
🙂
