Have a Spooktacular Halloween with Dinosaur Train!
At two and a half P’Diddy is obsessed with trains. Choo choo they go!
After anything with wheels, dinosaurs would be next on the list. They are big and ferocious and the cause for a lot of chatter.
How could we not become huge Dinosaur Train fans!? Remember, the wall mural I showed off on the blog? We still admire and chat about the picture on a daily basis.
How can you not love those cute little dinosaurs?
Lots of great things happening the month of October with the Jim Henson Company and PBS’s Dinosaur Train Show.
First, special Halloween episodes will be airing on PBS Kids! The week of Oct 15 & 21st and on the 31st there will be two themed shows called the Haunted Roadhouse and The Big Pond Pumpkin Patch. Be sure to check your local listings for exact air times!
Second, the Penguin Young Readers Group has published the book The Spooky Scavenger Hunt. Buddy and Tiny go on a spooky nature walk and get to ride on the Night Train. Are they scared? I will tell you we taken this adventure with them twice a day at our house. This book is going to be worn out fast!
Third, the Jim Henson Creature Shop is providing a Free Pattern to make your own Dinosaur Train costume! Check out the pattern or watch the You Tube Tutorial. If you can’t sew or don’t have time, that is okay because there is a no-sew option too! I think this would be a fun project anytime of year!
Finally, Buddy or Tiny costumes available from California Costume Collections. In sizes 3-4 or 4-6 you can have your own little dino following you around. The link will let you know where you can find one!
These costumes are the ADorABle! Not only do you get a jumpsuit that fits easily over any outfit, but you can hide their hands so the claws just show or have their hands out to easily hold things. I love that option.
There is foot cover to hide the shoes and the best part is of course the head. Buddy’s head is big and bold with his teeth sticking out. Doesn’t he look scary? No, just super cute!!
We can not wait to go trick or treating to show it off!
Do you have a Dinosaur Fan at your house? Would they choose to dress up as Buddy or Tiny?

We received the Buddy costume for review. All opinions are definitely our own.
