• We had 36 hours of non-stop rain and temps were in the low 40's. Bitterly cold for the livestock and new babies. Three more nights of 30's this week as the Polar Vortex hits the country. It's never this cold for so many days in the Tropics! Spring is gonna look mighty purty this year!

• We are freezing here in upstate NY. We live in an area that gets a lot of snow. We won't see ground or our dirt road until spring. I just cuddle up with some knitting as much as possible.

• Although it is definitely chilly here, it is certainly nothing like the weather that has been hitting much of the rest of the country. Of course, we then have days that get up to around the high 60s, so it doesn't pay to get complacent about the weather!

• Just an FYI about Deleting those who "don't open your emails"....just to let you know a lot of people who get your emails may only APPEAR to not open them....if they are like me I have my email browser set to not send a "return receipt" to anyone....that does not mean that I don't open and read my emails!
