Easy Strawberry Cookie Recipe

 

Happy Valentine’s Day!

 

I wanted to share a recipe that my mom has made for 37 years that I remember eating when I was a kid.

Very easy! The kids will love to help…

Easy Strawberry Cookie

1/4 cup butter, softened
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 large egg
1 Box Strawberry Cake Mix
2 Tbl. water
1/2 t. vanilla
1/2 cup of walnuts, finely chopped
1 container of vanilla frosting

With an electric mixer, blend butter & cream cheese in a large bowl. Add egg, then rest of ingredients. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet. Bake 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Cool. Then frost.

Yield:  2-2 1/2 dozen cookies
