Crafts Green Review

In the Easter Basket – Green Kid Crafts

We love crafts around here. I even like planning them for the most part. What I don’t love is finding and gathering materials.

Green Kid Crafts is a company that sends you crafts all ready in a box. With instructions! The best part? They only use eco-ingredients and materials in everything they do.

Let me show you the two Kits we received…

Kitchen Science Discovery Kit to make Volcanoes, Bath Bombs and Soap! We were excited!

The kids couldn’t wait for the volcano so we did that one first. They were very good at doing it together and taking turns to make the citric acid bubble and turn colors. A great activity to explain what is happening and how colors can combine to make new colors.

The bath bombs and soaps were soooooo fun. I loved doing them – ha ha! The boys think the bombs are SO cool when they are dropped in their nightly tub.

Then I had to get the Ocean Discovery Box, right?

We made this cute pin-the-tail on the whale game. We put it on the wall in our hallway and the boys play it all the time. They also colored and put together a Sailboat.

The third activity was creating postcards with paint bubbles through a straw. We didn’t do so well on this one. ha! They had a hard time getting the bubbles to form when blowing through a straw, but the paint part was fun and all in all still a nice experience for all.

Wouldn’t these be great in the Easter Baskets? You can buy just one or…
