Cellobies ~ A Cello Lullabies CD Giveaway

This giveaway was reposted because I lost it when my blog crashed. If you already entered then I still have your entries so no worry! If you haven’t entered then you NEED to! 🙂

There is musical talent in my family. Unfortunately, that did not come from my parents which means that I did not inherit any. Boo hoo! Though, when my aunt and uncle came to visit we were thrilled because it was music night! The guitar would come out and they would teach us songs and make us dance. oh, how we laughed and had fun! They bestowed this music gene into their seven children, my cousins!

I am happy to introduce my cousin Jen Slayden who has recorded her first original CD of cello lullabies called Cellobies!

Composed of 30 minutes and 10 tracks of music, all but two songs were composed by Jen from a simple cello line and then embellished with her love of other instruments. All instruments were arranged and played by Jen.

You are going to love how peaceful and relaxing this CD really is. I first turned it on when I was cleaning up and I found myself just swaying along. I turned around at one point to see what P’Diddy was up to and he was just sitting on the rug, in a trance-like, listening. It was so funny! It really does make you stop and let your guard down. Just what we need in our crazy hectic lives huh?

My favorite song right now is Rain. Each song comes with a description written by Jen. Rain says I love listening to rain. This piece of music came to me while sitting in my attic listening to a rainstorm on my metal roof. The uneven tempo at the end is indicative of the random nature of raindrops. As in my life, I find beauty not in perfection, but in spontaneity of nature’s rhythm.

Go Listen to Rain or a few other snippets HERE! This takes you to the Find Your Harmony website and blog. Many great things going on here. Be sure to look around!

While this CD is geared towards babies – PERFECT gift for a new baby or for the Holidays! – any age will be drawn in.

Special Holiday pricing going on right now for $9.99 – you can also get it gift wrapped for an additional cost. Each wrap includes a special Montana made star cutout designed to double as a whimsical ornament or accent by Montana Pulpworks.

You can also find Jen every Tuesday at Mamalode Magazine where she writes a column about life and being a mom of three. Check it out!

Isn’t my cousin Amazing?!!!
