Havaianas Flip Flops Review

You know I’m a flip flop gal. I live in them nine months out of the year or so. When I find a new company like Havaianas that specializes in flip flops I go a little crazy with excitement!

Especially when the first thing on their website that catches my eye is Make Your Own! Make my own flip flops? I’m in love with Havaianas flip flops already. I get right down to choosing and clicking. The color of my sole, my strap, and even cute little buttons I can add on top. So fun!

I tried to save the image of the ones I created to show you, but it wouldn’t let me. Trust me when I say they are colorful and cute! I will show you these though. They are called Slim Turkey because this print and application were inspired by Suzani, a type of hand-made embroidery created by women in Turkey. Love them! Come in four colors, but I would choose Ocean Green of course!

Havaianas not only carries women’s sandals, but for men (including sports teams!) and kids too! I’m afraid to show my boys this store because they would want these SuperHero ones. They also had them in baby size with the back straps attached. I tell ya, there is something for everyone!

Havaianas are inspired by the Zori, typical Japanese sandals made from fabric straps and rice straw shoes. This is the reason the flip flops have a textured rice pattern. They are recognizable and “everyone wears them.” You should too! 🙂
