De-Stress This Season with Coloring & Doodling
I have no artistic ability whatsoever. I really have problems even drawing the most simple things. My poor kids have to run to their dad if they need help with any type of outline. It’s so sad!
Maybe that is why I love to color. Adult coloring books have become all the rage. Have you noticed them in the stores? I’ve been itching to try one and try one I did!
I’ll admit that when I first started filling in my flowers I was thinking to myself….I don’t have time for this because I have one million other things to do. My goal was to do a little bit and continue later on, but as I was got into the groove I was so relaxed and enjoying my moment I finished the whole page in one sitting as time seemed to fly by.
Above is a page from the Tangled Treasures Coloring Book by Jane Monk – The soothing flow of tangling plus the meditative action of coloring makes this book a treat. What I loved was the thick white pages that were perforated on the side for easy tear out. Also in the front of the book I found helpful advice and techniques to get started.
A fabulous book to start your coloring hobby. Plus I have 10 more to share with you!
