Our Playdate with New Toys!

We got to have a playdate at our house today! Last week we went shopping and ordered some new toys to play with for the summer. Then we emailed our friends and said ‘Come and Play!’

I wanted to make a little treat or two and thought it would be fitting to do a Fourth of July theme. One of the treats I made were red, white and blue fruit kabobs! Strawberries and blueberries with marshmellows. They were a hit!

Now to play!

We started off in the yard with our Little Tikes 3-in-1 Trike. This bike has it all! Starts out as a parent push trike then moves on up until the child can pedal on his own. Both the 9 month old & 3 year old enjoyed the same ride. Nice! And look at that shaded canopy and cup holder. What luxury!

While we were outside it was bubble time! What child doesn’t love bubbles? The Bubble Bonanza came with a variety of parts to make different size bubbles! There was plenty of wands for everyone and we quickly ran out of solution which is now on my grocery list so we can stock up!

Now out to the back porch to shoot some hoops with the Little Tikes Easy Score Basketball! This is P’Diddy’s favorite toy right now. The first night we put it together I have never seen him have so much fun! He LOVED throwing that ball into the hoop that was just his size! Three different levels it will grow with him. All the kids had fun dunking it in ~ big and small!

All the boys, and myself included, were excited to buy the Little Tikes Get Out ‘N’ Grill because it went perfectly with our kitchen! It came with a hamburger, hotdog, and all the grilling accessories the little ones would need. So cute!

My big boys couldn’t wait to play with their toys ~ they ran around the neighborhood to show off what they got to their friends as soon as they arrived. In no time we had a water gun fight going with the three guns we bought. The Nerf Scatterblast and Nerf Thunderstorm are both super soakers and I thought the Thunderstorm was unique for a water gun because it used batteries, made noise, and shot up to 25 feet away. They had lots of fun!!

Last but not least – the Razor Graffiti Scooter. This has been a hit with all the kids. Races have been driven down our block. Hence, the helmet for there have been crashes too, but that has not stopped them one bit!

As you can see ALL the kids had TONS of fun from their new toys!. What great days we had!

Be on the lookout next week as I share MORE photos of the toys and playdates.
