My Smashed Phone and AT&T’s A Gift That Money Can’t Buy Campaign

Did I tell you about my phone? About a month ago P’Diddy was talking to Hubby who was at work. I could tell he was done with the conversation and I told him to give me the phone back as he was just walking around with the phone in his hand and a smile on his face. He wasn’t planning on giving it back. I moved towards him and he started to run – a chase around the house – to the door that leads out to the garage. It was open and he sees me catching up. He stops and hurls the phone out the door, onto the concrete garage floor.

I now have a very smashed screen. It takes up about a third of my smartphone so that I can still touch buttons and talk. Good thing since I’m still in the middle of my cell plan and wasn’t ready to get a new one.

Lucky for me though I have partnered up with AT&T for their holiday campaign A Gift That Money Can’t Buy campaign. I’m looking forward to receiving the Nokia Lumia 920! Have you seen the commercials for it? Hubby and I went to the AT&T store the other day to get a peek at it and the sales lady showed us all the cool features. I can’t wait to try it out!

A Gift That Money Can’t Buy is a site that allows teens to give their parent a one-of-a-kind digital gift. The site will also nudge the recipient in the right direction of what to get for their kids, which is (hint hint), the latest and greatest AT&T smartphone – specifically a Nokia Lumia 920.

Check out the great gifts available:

  • A Very, Very, Very Personal Greeting From Luke Perry
  • A Guitar Solo from Richie Sambora
  • A holiday feast prepared by celebrity chef Michael Voltaggio
  • A joke handed down from comedian Richard Lewis
  • A cameo in this month’s “The Onion

Each week throughout they’ll be refreshing the site with new gifts! Fun!

Can’t wait til my kids catch on to things like this…or maybe I can. 🙂

Stay tuned for my review on the Nokia Lumia 920!
