P’Diddy is really into farms lately. We have toy barns and tons of equipment ~ tractors, fences, animals ~ for him to play with. It’s not just the toys though. He picks the books with farmers and animals to read at story time. Oh, and Old McDonald Had a Farm is constantly being sung around here. The other day he insisted that I was going to take him to visit a farm to see the cows being milked. I better get on that!
I knew he would love the Hide-n-Go Moo.
Can you guess the animal without looking? Reach into the barn and identify barnyard favorites by touch—vinyl flaps over the opening ensure you can’t peek! Then match the adult to the baby for extended play.
Even though the object is to find the animal by touch, he doesn’t understand that yet. He likes to name which one he wants and then pull them all out until he finds the one he called out.
I like this game because I’ve been teaching him what baby animals are called. He’ll put out the mama Pig and the baby Piglet and match them together.
It is a toy we can play together or he’ll play contently on his own. He’ll add it to his other farm toys and make a nice big barnyard mess. This one is easy to clean though. Just store the eight animals inside the barn and they won’t fall out!
