I very rarely get out a night out. When three bottles of Flip Flop Wine arrived at my door I knew that it was time. Plus I figured this wine was named for me (well not really) so I better show it off well!
I had a lot of fun preparing for this evening with a couple of my girl friends. I made a seven layer taco dip, baked a chicken mediterranean pizza, and got out all my beachy flip flop decor. I was ready!
I am not a big drinker myself so I was happy to hear my friend’s thoughts on this cutely-named wine. You see, it’s approximate retail value is only $6.99. Not what you would call a fancy wine, but we don’t need fancy. We just want it to taste good!
Their favorite was the Pinot Grigio ~ light-bodied, with tropical citrus, ripe pear and a zesty, clean finish and commented…
The wines were really enjoyable and something I would love to have again!
My mom who DOES know her wines, actually being in the wine industry is one of her dream jobs, went out immediately to buy a few bottles when I called to tell her about the brand. She found them on sale for only $5! The chatterer that she is, got talking with the sales associate who told her people where raving about this drink at a wine show she just got back from.
She grabbed three and found the Cabernet ~ full-bodied, with blackberry fruit, dark cherries and a long lingering finish to be the most surprising…
It screams of a perfect blend of berries and cherries that is overall quite delectable!
Another awesome feature ~
For every bottle of wine purchased Soles4Souls will distribute a pair of shoes to someone in need!
What do I have to say overall about Flip Flop Wines?
As a part time social drinker who doesn’t know her wines, this is a bottle that I can afford, has a seriously cute label, part of the proceeds help others and to quote the website is “flippin’ good“. Perfect for a beachy girl like myself 🙂
