Tree Hugger Mama Cloth Giveaway
This week I will be featuring four different products that are available to use for our monthlys. They are all reusable! Every women has their own preferences and I hope I can help you switch from disposable pads and tampons to be more green! And even better to SAVE MONEY!
A great start to this event with one of my favorite products!
I featured Crystal, the wonderful mama who makes these pads, last September when I tried mama cloth for the very first time. It was a cloth diaper experience all over again. Why did I wait so long to try these out?!!
Why do I think Tree Hugger is the best? Lots of reasons!
~ handmade. I love supporting wahms.
~ minky. Not only are they super soft but they do NOT stain. I have used each of my pads 2-3 times per cycle for a year now and they look as good as new. Promise!
~ cute. You know me, the cuter the better! Yes even my mama cloth is more fun cute!
~ comfortable. Â I’m more of a pad girl then tampons so one of the first things I ever noticed was how much more comfy it was to wear days worth of minky pads vs plastic disposables.
~ easy. Keep a wet bag next to my potty. In goes the pad when I’m finished with it. I can toss the bag in any load of laundry – diapers, towels, and yes even clothes. They come out wonderfully and so does the rest of your stuff.
When you go out you may want a purse-sized wet bag which is also sold at Tree Hugger. See Crystal has thought of everything!

The Small size (front left) is the perfect fit for a cereal bowl to send your kids with leftovers in their lunch (as long as it’s not something with liquid) and a  Tiny (front right) can be used on a small bowl or short drinking glass to send snacks as well, like veggie sticks!
A new idea Kelli creates, but doesn’t have listed in her store yet are Sandwich Wraps. As you will see I let my boys pick out their own fabric. Dragons and flames!
Why are these sandwich wraps totally awesome? I can fit any size or shape in there! My boys love bringing bagels to school, rolls, & chicken fajita wraps.
It’s a multi-purpose too! A placemat!
The boys think they are double cool now and my next order will be one for P’Diddy to keep in the diaper bag. How many times do you wish you had something to put babies food one when you are out and about?

Bright Life Toys Sensory Clutch Ball Giveaway
For P’Diddy’s first birthday a couple of months ago I knew I wanted to get him his own ball. He loved throwing them and chasing after it to throw again. He just giggles with delight if you sit on the floor and play pass the ball with him.
At 14 months his only real words are Dad AND Ball!
I wasn’t sure what kind I should buy him, big or small, soft or hard, until Gail from Bright Life Toys showed off one of her Sensory Clutch Balls on Facebook. I knew instantly it was perfect!

Made with bright vibrant colors, the “clutch” ball is named perfectly ~ baby can very easily grab it with one hand and give it a good toss! Here are more reasons I love it ~
- each colored section is made with a different textured fabric hence the “sensory”. Â Hand dyed organic bamboo velour, satin, minkee, felt and nylon are a few materials of what Gail uses.
- multiple tags are sewn in around the ball also in multiple sizes and colors. Babies love tags! (note from Gail: changed to sensory points due to the Taggie patent on the looped ribbons.)
- a soft jingling bells provide auditory stimulation to little ears. Fun!
- the ball is soft and squishy which means I don’t have to worry about where it’s bouncing.
Our favorite colors are blues, browns, & oranges and look how it turned out!
