Do you love Italian food at your house? It is a favorite for all of my boys! We love big pasta shells, tiny angel hair, and most of all cheesy mac and cheese! Plus I’m happy to share our Spaghetti Tacos dish!
Carrabba’s Italian Grill is just down the street from us so we get to go once in awhile. We all have our favorites that we order. Mine is definitely the Chicken Parmesan, but my kids love the Brick Oven Pizza. Hubby usually changes things up each time but the Chicken Trio is one of his top choices. Then we all steal bits from one another. That is how it should be right?
But what do we all look forward to the most? Warm bread dipped in oil. We FIGHT over it! Who can eat it the fastest! More please!
Carrabba’s has a few limited time special offers going on right now. I want to try them all! Here are a couple on the list that look DE-LISH!
Parmesan-crusted Chicken Topped with fresh arugula and grape tomatoes tossed in a hand-prepared lemon vinaigrette, served with choice of side. Substitution of wood-grilled chicken also available
Limoncello Bread Pudding Back by popular demand! Brioche bread pudding made with fresh Madagascar vanilla beans and a rich custard, served hot out of the oven.
Speaking of Spaghetti I want to share with you a kind of unique recipe that we recently started in our house! If your kids watch iCarly then you know exactly what I am talking about! And if you haven’t heard of it you may think we are a little strange 😉
I don’t really have an exact recipe that I’ve written down because we just kind of wing it…
I cook spaghetti noodles like I normally would, adding butter at the end.
Warm up your favorite kind of sauce. Mix it with the noodles.
Add ground beef/italian sausage/meatballs ~ if you want
Grab your favorite taco shells. Some of us use soft and a couple use the hard shell. Spoon spaghetti mixture inside shell.
Top with Parmesan Cheese!
Not the most fancy meal but at my house we like to have a little FUN! And how easy and quick is that?!
Tell me about the pasta experiences in your house! Have you ever gone to Carrabba’s Italian Grill? If so, what is your favorite food? Do you make pasta at home?
