Caribe Cove in Kissimmee
Today I’m going to share a fabulous secret with you. When you are planning your next trip to Disney in Orlando, don’t even bother pricing out those expensive hotels. They are small crowded rooms for hundreds of dollars that will eat into your budget. Instead stay at Caribe Cove, a home from Wyndham Vacation Rentals. A resort with condo style villas for a fraction of the price.
Vacation rentals are the way to go! Let me tell you why Caribe Cove is one of the best places to stay in Kissimmee.
Caribe Cove
This is your home for the week you are there. Not a room. A home.
We stayed in a 3-bedroom with 2 full huge baths, modern kitchen, family room and dining area. Sleeps 8 people with a pull out couch and is approx. 1600 sqft.
We ate breakfast every morning on our private screened in porch. Yes, leftovers for breakfast. We can do that on vacation. We have a fridge, microwave, utensils, plates and whatever else we need. Our first stop into town was the grocery store.
This is a huge savings in itself. Meals at home.
The location was fabulous. Disney World was just down the road. Sea World and Universal Studios weren’t much further. We really came to love everything about Caribe Cove.
Our whole trip was overcast skies, but it didn’t rain much and the temperature was perfect. The kids spent more than one day at the pool and hot tub.
They also had their own Redbox where you can rent a free movie every night. Also a small convenience store that we did need and was glad it was on site late one night!
The whole property is very inviting. We took late night walks around the ponds, shot some hoops on the basketball court and climbed all over the resort mascot.
Are you ready to hear the price? As I’m writing this post I looked how much it would cost us to rent the same room this weekend.
For 3 nights the total was $392 with tax. YES!
