Backup Your Photos with Picture Keeper Giveaway

| |

Boy do I have a lot of photos. I thought I had enough until I started blogging and I had to start taking even more! Then the smartphone was bought and I have a nice little camera in my purse wherever I go.

Yes I take pictures of EVERYTHING….EVERYWHERE. People look at me kind of strange sometimes.

Where do all of these pictures get stored? Well on my computer of course! My poor poor computer. Gone are the days were we had to print our film to see what our photos would like it. Now I just save them all after a glance.

A neat device on the market is the Picture Keeper. It’s a little portable drive that stores all of your photos automatically and gets them off your computer to a safe place and you are free to delete your computer ones…if you want.

It really is as easy as 1…2…3 like they claim. No software. No downloads.

Plug it in and the software knows how to locate and save the photos. Next week I can plug it in again and save the new ones. The Picture Keeper knows right where it left off. It also skips duplicates so you don’t have to worry about that.

There are different size Picture Keepers you can buy ranging from around 4,000 photos to 250,000 which a professional might need. Keep in mind it doesn’t store by number of photos, but by size. I did find the downside to my iphone 5 camera and the Picture Keeper when it located over 9000 images on my computer and could only save about half of that on the device. Camera phones take big pics! Which is nice…until you’re trying to save them.

Another nice perk is their app. It will take the pictures from your phone to your computer where they will be backed up. This is a great concept and one I already use with my Cloud.

Check out all the different options online and how the Picture Keeper can help you!

You may save if you purchase on Amazon!
